After five years of waiting it’s finally time. Come with us on a journey 1000 m above sea, among treetops and in a landscape that’s just as gorgeous in summer as it is in winter. An all-year-round destination in Scandinavia’s most lively ski resort Hemsedal! The surrounding mountains are jaw-dropping during winter, but in summer and fall, Hemsedal turns into a beautiful destination with waterfalls, stunning mountains, and valleys.

Our venue
We will be staying at Norway’s leading resort Fýri Resort.
Fýri Resort Hemsedal is located among the treetops and in a landscape that is just as gorgeous in summer as it is in winter. It is a place where adventure and nature are the excursion, and the hotel serves as the hideaway for recreation and wellbeing. Relax in the outdoor pool, enjoy great food in good company, have fun in the game area with shuffleboard and billiards – or simply find your Zen in the beautiful landscape.

You’ll organise your own transport to and from your local airport above and submit as expenses. Shared transport is recommended. When in Norway, air shuttles will take care of us from and to the airports.

Friday: Hiking Tours

Hike – Easy
A nice and easy stroll in the mountain landscape. The hike follows a gravel path through lakes and swamps.
Distance: 2.6 km
Elevation: 101 m
Time: 2,5 h incl. coffee stop

Hike – Intermediate
Intermediate hike in a faster pace with a fantastic view. You start off in the high mountain area and walk on a stone trail.
Distance: 5.7 km
Elevation: 316 m
Time: 2,5 h incl. coffee stop
Saturday: Optional Activities

Mountain bike – Easy
Guided MTB trip on blue trails. Easy route without much difference in elevation (but expect some climbing). Singletrack and gravel road.
Estimated time: 2,5 h

Mountain bike – Intermediate
Guided MTB trip on red trails. For experienced mountain bikers. Expect elevation gain in meters, rough and rocky terrain, mostly trails.
Estimated time: 2,5 h

River snorkelling
Try river snorkelling in the Hemsila river. Put on a wetsuit and follow the guide. An exciting activity that shows you another side of Hemsedal.
Estimated time: 3,5 h

Kayak
Kayak trip with a certified guide. No kayaking experience is necessary to participate, but you must be comfortable with water.
Estimated time: 2,5 h

Horse-drawn wagon tour
A nice horse and wagon tour at the base of mount Skogshorn. Each wagon fits 5 persons.
Estimated time: 2,25 h

Mountain Cart
A ”grown 3-wheel bike” without pedals, but with breaks on the handles to control the speed.
Estimated time: 2 h

Chilling at the hotel
Chill at the hotel or relax in the pool club. There are also nice walking paths in the area.
